Hello to all...

I'm sorry to hear all the negative things that are taking place on valentine's day, when its a special day to show love.

I'm a haitian american, I was born and raised in the US but I was raised mainly in a haitian community.

Meaning I have my share of experience with haitian people even if I haven't been to Haiti.

This response is for Serge, I believe…I kind of agree in some of the things you said, but...I have to give it to the ladies, majority of the Haitian guys treat other women better than they treat a haitian woman.

No matter how much you show them love or you "IMPROVISE" they will treat you even worst then before.

I even asked some guys why is that.

The poplar answer was "they play hard to get too much".

But there the same guys that will say "seh's easy to get" and call them all types of bad names.

I think its really about the guys inexperience in dealing with a real lady and the guys immaturity.

For the ladies, as someone did mention I can't remember who, even when he made his wife seem as if she's not worth anything he is right about one thing, if there is 365 days in a year and your man never showed any signs of love by buying you flowers or something he knows you like, don't expect for just one day out of 365 days.

There are some good Haitian guys, you just have to learn not to settle for first thing that comes your way.

Don't except something that you know you can't handle.

I'm currently married to a haitian man( born and raised in Haiti) and he is very romantic.

Due to fact we had to spend valentine's day a part he made it sure that I got the message…one thing to know its not just valentine's day but its every chance he gets.
