Unless it's something egregious that occurred; I think that you should call a TRUCE for V- Day!
Agree to put your differences to the side for the day, and celebrate to the fullest- No Holds Bar!
By the way, once you find that special someone, in my opinion, each day should be celebrated as if it were V-Day.
